MEXICAN ROADTRIP, a 39 page dark comedy
John, a high school senior, might stay out of trouble if not for his friend Tommy. After nearly getting killed in a freak accident at career day, John tries to hang with friends but instead he unwittingly burglarizes a home.
With John's bad luck he stumbles into one physical comedy after the other. On top of that John is haunted by a mysterious dark night 15 months earlier.
No wonder John, the once popular high school jock has become a despondent loner. He quit the football team, has a strained relationship with his over medicated father who checked out of life and onto the couch. Mom's gone. He's manipulated by his only "friend", Tommy and he's too goofy to speak to the only girl he thinks about.
At least John's looking forward to a Mexican road trip, but at the last moment he's tricked into driving his "old" neighbor, Christy, 42, and her RV to Mexico while his friend Tommy drives down with John's would be girlfriend.
15 months earlier, John, the popular football star, had it all. What happened that dark wet night?
